-Colore:il maschio ha il capo e il collo verde con un collarino
bianco, le ali brune, i fianchi sono grigio- pallido.La femmina è
bruna striata di nero,meno appariscente.
-Taglia:60 cm
-Becco:colore giallo nel maschio; quello della femmina arancione
screziato di nero.
-Zampe:tre dita anteriori e uno posteriore rudimentale. Palmate
di colore giallo- arancio.
Riproduzione :depone da 7 a 12 uova di colore grigio-
verdastro.Incubazione 28 giorni.
